Anyone know if it is still raining, and if so, how hard?

According to weather.com it's raining lightly, and it's expected to rain there all afternoon. :(:

The rain is supposed to let up around noon, then cloudy/drizzle the rest of the afternoon. Last year, I sat through a 2 hour rain delay in Detroit before they went ahead with the game. Could be a long afternoon down there...

58 Degrees/Light Rain/Lookin at the radar should clear up within a couple hours... hopefully they delay the game by a couple hours so I can watch part of it

That looks promising right? Looks like it's passing by Detroit.

I'm itching for a game, I hate April. All these day games I can't watch, too many off-days in the first few weeks and then you have the possibility of a rainout on any given day.

Is Detriot a misspelling, or intentional?

It better not rain. I plan on going to lunch here in a few and then spending the rest of the day at work watching the game.

Good, I'm not the only one... I hope the Boss will take that as an excuse! "But Jenn2080 can do it!"

Agreed. Weekday day games bite. Are the Sox playing more days games than usual days to start the season or does it just feel that way?

It's always like this. And day games rock for us stuck in cubicles. Watching on gameday makes the day go by way quicker.

Just perception I think. Might be actually less day games than usual. It's tough when you've waited all winter (especially after this winter).

After this series we're pretty much home free. Only one more weekday day game in April (after this series) and that's next week vs. KC. We have TOR and MIN for weekend series with Friday night games, then we finish the month on the west coast. I'm actually looking forward to the 9 o'clock starts.

10 out of the first 15 games are or were day games so its not a perception LOL
