More impressive pitching in Birmingham tonight. Game is still going on with Birmingham leading 8-0. Liotta 6IP 2H 0R 0ER 1BB 4SO. After two starts he has an 0.82 ERA and he's third among starters on that team. Valido has a triple a homer and 4 rbi as the Barons finally break out of their slump.

Both W-S and Kanny won 5-1.

Charlotte lost 6-4 two singles for Sweeney.
