I've only been going to 12-15 games/year in the past, but I could see making at least 35 this year.

Probably not. I usually go to about 20-30 games a year. Not seeing more then that.

My record is...I think 11. So yeah, I will be breaking that hopefully.

Six games in Toronto + Two games in the Burgh = a new record. :bandance:

I'm planning on going to about 3 games, which is about what I usually make in one year.

Sadly the Sox winning the WS didn't affect my salary at all... :(:

I bought a full-season packagae for the first time so I sure has hell better break my record of 13 games.:D:

I have attended 30 or more games for the last six seasons, including a personal-best 45 games last year, but I don't know if I'll crack 30 this year with all the new "fans" attending games.

I am looking forward to seeing games in Detroit, Pittsburgh and Cincy. I'll break my road games attended record for sure.

Not a chance. When I was younger, I was able to go all the time - not so much anymore. I'll probably get to 10-15 not including post season this year.

I went to nine games last year total (Sox and other teams). This year, I expect to go to at least 12 Sox games and a few others, so probably anywhere from 15-20 games this year. That's pretty good for a 17-year-old, I think.

I'm breaking my record for April and September games, but I'm not sure how many games I'll be going to over the summer months. My record is 15 last year, not including a game at the Urinal (my friend had an extra ticket) and a Brewers game. I'm going to go to about 10 games in September, 1 in May (22nd), and 1 in July (3rd). If I get a summer job downtown I'll probably go to a few more games.

Tough call. Last year, I made it to 18 regular season games (21 including one game in each round of the playoffs), which is pretty good for someone who isn't a season ticket holder (but knows many ). I'm off to a good start already because I will have been to 3 of the first 4 home games of the season by next weekend! After that, it's anybody's guess, but I'd have to say I'll probably attend around the same amount of games this year as I did in '05.

This year will also mark my inaugural roadtrip to see the Sox. I've never seen the Sox on the road and am looking very forward to going to Pittsburgh in June!

I bought all 81 games this year. While I won't make all of them, my personal best is in the upper 30's, I think. Went to 36 last year. In the "slow" years, it is usually around 24.

Doubtful. My record is 8 in 2003, but I had a schedule which allowed that many games. That was with a job five miles away, leaving at 3:45, and no grad school. Now, 27 mile commute, leave at 4:30, and grad school.

I'm sure I won't break my all-time single season record since I went to at least 12-15 games in '90 and '91 (in Chicago), but I could very well break my record for road games in a season (which is 4 -- set last season, of course).
Then again, if the Sox play road interleague games in Philly and DC / NY next year, that would probably result in a new EastCoast record...

I've made at least one road trip per year the last few years, and this year it's Pittsburgh. Section 108 at PNC. Seeing the Sox on the road is such a blast(especially when then win).

I've been to at least thirty for that last five or six years, I think I'll hit fifty this year so yeah I'll probably break my record.

If I do, my wallet is in trouble. I went to at least 30 games in 2000 if not 40. Last year I made it to 17 regular season games + all 6 home playoff games.

I'll probably end up going to about 20 this year, including at least 1 away game.

My poor college butt couldn't afford anything until now. Record was probably 5 before...it's going to be 30+ (DP plan and extra single games).

I may actually set a new low record this year. Last few years my average has been in the 10-15 range, all-time high in the 30 range. This year, with having new babies in the house and the difficulty of getting good seats, I'd imagine 3-5. :(:

On the positive side, I think I might be seeing one of the games at Safeco in a couple of weeks since I'll be in Seattle on business. :bandance:

I definitely plan on breaking my record this year. Last year I went to over 40 not including every playoff home game and a Sox game at Wrigley. My dad missed one game from June to the very end. The only games I know I'm gonna most likely miss are the rest of the day games with the exception of the sox/cubs one and most saturday night games. Im afraid my father is most likely going to have to cut down on his games attended. It seems my mother is putting her foot down (she says its because he comes home so tired from the games only to get up at 3am the next day to go to work and cause hes getting old).

I did 19 last year, but two were on the road. Year before was 14.... I'll probably fall somewhere in the middle, since I already have tickets to 13 games and am planning a trip to Cincinnati... probably a couple oddball games in there too I don't have tickets to yet.

Since I've never attended more than two a year, it'll be a easy one to break, in theory at least.

Last year I sit a personal record at 10 games and the team was 4-6 in those games. So far, I'll be going to 3 games through May 5th. Probably a couple in the summer and a couple more come the school year again. FWIW, my record in attendence, 21-12 and 2 games tied when it was called due to rain.

My max games was about 20 or so in 2003. This year will be at least 30. Has anyone ever attended all 81 games, that would be incredible.

I maxed out at 33 in th eearly 90s. I plan to make 5 or 6 this season.

It's gonna be rather hard to break my record, which I set last year. I went to 38 games (including both ALDS and ALCS game 2).

I have the Hit & Run plan this year; but, I realistically see myself going to 30-33 games this year.

I figure I'll break my last season road trip record by about 4-5 games this year (18)... Home will be about the same with my new work schedule/construction problems related to my work schedule... So out of the full season plan I bought... probably only make about 30-40 home games... below my record...

My record is 12 (including road games) set last year. Before that I went to 5-8 games a year, but I was in school so I had less money too. I'll probably come close to the record this season, but with tickets harder to come by I doubt I'll break it.

My record? Uhhh...probably 3
I will certainly break that this year, since i've got Ozzie Plan tickets.

Seriously, about the usual half-dozen or so. Of course if I win the lottery, that may change!

Before tickets cost you an arm and a leg, kids could go to quite a few games. In 1975, I had a knee operation toward the end of March so I was off work all summer. I went to 78 home games and 9 road games ( 3 Detroit and 6 in Milwaukee). It was great!

I was only able to go to one last year. This year I have already gone to one so I will be breaking my record for sure. I have a brother who now has an Ozzie plan.( I mean my "wonderfull, fabulous brother" ) so I plan to go to about 10 games.

Last year I set a new record of attending 30 games, including playoffs. I started the season with tickets to 43 games, but I'm sure I'll be selling a few of those off.

Probably not. I'm only 17, so it's not my call on what games I go to. I did however break my record last year. It's now 5 games, including 2 on the last weekend. My previous one was 4, set back in 2003.

i dont think i could beat mine. i went to 16 games in 03', didnt have the money in 04' or 05'. hopefully i will have more money this year to go to more than opening day.

Probably not, but I'll try to make a horse race out of it. We got the 20 game winner package for the last year at Comiskey Park in 1990. That was back in the pre-children era, when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. :o:

I got the Ozzie package this year, and I am sure I'll squeeze in a few more games (COTC, etc.)

My record was 39 a few years ago. Last year was 35. This year will probably be about the same. I work alot of nights/weekends at my job, so it's tougher than I want it to be to break my record

I will most likely break my record for fewest amount of games gone to in a season. Probably less than 10 for me this year.

Bobbo35
04-08-2006, 11:16 AM
I already have my games marked off. I will be going to 25 games this year plus 1 time in the scout section for the Toronto game. Last year I went to 23 games plus game 1 of the ALCS and game 1 and 2 of the world series.

bgpoppapaul
04-08-2006, 12:05 PM
In the past, I would get the Ozzie plan and then go to about 10 or 15 more games when I had time. This season, I was "forced" to have to buy season tickets because of the fact that we couldn't get consistent lower deck tickets anymore without them. Therefore I'm at 27 games, just on weekends. I'll still probably hit about 10 more on weeknights over the summer so yeah, looks like it will be a record.

I couldn't do it if I tried. I attended every game in 1990 at home and another 12 on the road, and one in wiggley. Doing that now with a family (vacation, Little League, etc), that would be tough!

I'm pretty sure there are people that have done that every year for many years.

People who don't have jobs or families...

or people who have very understanding bosses and very understanding families :D:
