Well almost, Brian is a RHP while his father Floyd was a lefty. Floyd Bannister's son, Brian made his MLB debut, on Wed for the Mets. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 3 runs on 2 hits.
Damn he was only 2 when the White Sox won the AL West. I remember seeing him pitch at SC but never saw Pink Floyd.
The first son from the 83 team to play make the majors? I remember The Bull's son was drafted in the 2nd round by the Dodgers in the 90's but never made it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think it was Father Bannister who was being interviewed in the stands when his son beaned Alfonso Soriano in the head. He kept on talking like nothing happened, which I thought was funny.
