Is anyone else not terribly surprised that a guy that big had abdominal pains? I mean, I suspect churros. Really.

I don't know, but the title of this thread made me laugh out loud while sitting here in the library. :roflmao:

That nickname comes directly from an Indians fan buddy of mine.

I mean, really...what else could C.C. stand for?

:hijacked:

I was thinking about the funniest post-game buffet ever. How about this:

Ruth, Rich Garces, CC, David Wells and Cecil Fielder all somehow wind up on the same team. They all have a poor outing. KW comes in and flips the buffet table before they get a chance to eat.

Hilarity ensues.

Ease up, killer! It's game 1 of 162. I'd err on the side of caution too if I were Eric Wedge.

With the spread that would have to be laid out for that lineup, KW would need a forklift to flip over the buffet table!

C.C. could also stand for Carlos Castillo Sabathia. Of course, we have a history of our own with overweight pitchers, including our current closer.

Batgirl/twins fans call him Capt. Cheeseburger also. Haha.

I like "Rodeo Clown".

Honestly, have some respect for your uniform. As ESPN went through the photos of the Cleveland batting order, you could see that at least 3 other players had succumbed to the "crooked hat" epidemic.

Rodeo clown? No way that dude could jump in a barrel if things got hairy.

And oy vey, the crooked hats. It's 10 times worse than the Dontrelle Willis "I refuse to bend the bill of my cap" look.

Don't be suprised to see that trend continuing in Boston, now that this goofball is up there.

INJURY REPORT: Cleveland Indians pitcher C.C. Sabathia injured his right boob.

If there is one lesson to be gleaned from all of this, it's not to eat more than 3 bavarian cream churros before pitching in a Major League baseball game. Sabathia played with fire and got burned.

It's the new "wait 30 minutes after you eat before swimming."

I thought he was stalling so that the rain would come in, and they wouldn't have to be humiliated and shut out on opening day. But now I hear he might go on the DL. Oh well, I still think he was stalling.

Will be interesting to see this Carmona kid...he´s been getting hyped up by the Indians folks. Not quite like Liriano or Hernandez or Verlander, but quite a bit.

Probably, they´ll go with Jason Davis though. Don´t need a fifth starter until the middle of the month.

When ESPN was showing the Jndians defense, and Ronnie Belly-lard's photo popped up at 2B, I wanted to punch him right in his smug, sneering, crooked-hat-wearing face.

I actually had to rewind the DVR to show my wife what a punk-ass he looked like. Now that Cereal Boy is in Boston, it's a toss-up between Belliard and Hafner for which Toon I dislike the most.

don't worry, last night during the second half of the game all the drunks were down by the on deck circle and some guy was really laying into belliard for being a fat second baseman. it was great.

Carsten Charles Sabathia, for the record.

I call the Indians, Thugs. Because they look like a bunch of thugs thrown together and thrown onto the baseball field. I mean how can you not call them thugs, especially with the following guys on the team...
