From rotoworld.com:
First baseman Bucky Jacobsen has signed on with the Long Island Ducks of the independent Atlantic League.
Jacobsen didn't get an invitation to major league spring training after signing a minor league deal with the White Sox last month. He has a lot of work to do if he's going to make it back to the majors. Mar. 31 - 10:52 pm et
Shame. I wouldn't have minded him in the minors in case of an emergency. I remember him being decent with the Mariners a couple of years back. Good power against lefties if I remember correctly.
