Chance of rain keeps increasing. Up to 60% now for Sunday night.

They are not consistent http://www.weather.com/outlook/events/mlb/gameforecast/60616?eventid=168702&epc=be

When I traveled to Minnesota, the extended cast had predicted snow for the week before, instead their biggest snowstorm when I was there. It was only right when I checked the night before, so I'll still wait on it.

In conclusion, the Weather Channel sucks

Looks like rain... ****!

(White Sox opener): Increasing cloudiness, strengthening SE winds. Growing prospects for p.m. showers/t-storms.

Tom Skilling couldn't predict a hot day in Death Valley. All he's good for is having light glare off his chrome-dome.

Here's (http://wwwa.accuweather.com/forecast-detail.asp?partner=accuweather&myadc=0&traveler=1&zipcode=60616&fday=4&metric=0) the detailed forecast for Sunday. According to accuweather.com, there's only a 21% chance for rain at night and even less of a chance (12%) during the day. It looks like it'll be breezy, though! Dress appropriately, especially if you're sitting upstairs like me!

The Weather Channel has other ideas.

They are predicting a 60% chance of rain. Looks like it will be a game time decision as to what to wear...

To be fair... ANY weatherman will tell you we still cannot project any more than three days out, if that.

Its just that people really want these 5, 7, 10 day "forecasts." So they do them. Any weatherman will tell you that even though they try to use technology for things that far in the future, the results are rarely different than rolling dice.

If it rains out, will the game be made up on Monday?

If it rains out, will the game be made up on Monday?

And what if it gets rained out Monday, too (rain predicted)?

Does that mean I get to see a season-opening doubleheader on Tuesday?:praying:

I really don't think about it too much. I work indoors.

I would think since they are playing the Indians, they would wait until later in the season when it is warmer to makeup a game.

Just now (4:50 PM) The channel 7 weatherman.. i can't think of his name off hand, but at the end of his forecast he said "It looks like the SOX are going to have to dance in between the drops on Sunday" I dunno, take it for what you will.
