I told you guys I'd let you know when it's out, so, IT'S OUT!!!

Well, it looks like my article is out on TimeOut Chicago Magazine. It can be read in the Around Town --> Out There --> 5 Minutes With section of the magazine.

For those out-of-towners, you may read the short interview on their website right here: http://www.timeoutchicago.com/Details.do?xyurl=xyl://TOCWebArticles2/57/out_there/5_minutes_with.xml. It includes my picture as well. Not the one I had wished to have picked; but, it's nice nonetheless!

There's one inaccuracy in the article, as I grew up in Bolingbrook and have been living by myself here in Bridgeport for just over 15 months.

Enjoy!

Way to represent WSI!! I understand you'll be out of town when I'm in town and at the game on April 14th. When will you get to autograph my copy?!

It depends on when your next game in town is. You know I'll be at at least 30 games this year, so there are lots of opportunities! :D:

He lives in California, something tells me he is not coming to too many games here this year.....

You did a disservice to us all by being so Flubsessed and mentioning them. That or you're a plant by the Tribune people to monitor us.

Very cool article. Nice to see something that doesn't patronize Sox fans or make us seem like we're some sort of weird Morlock like race that only comes out to watch baseball and fight people.

A plug for WSI, and she slips in the word "pissed." How much more awesome can you be?

Too bad I'm subscribed to Timeout NY, otherwise I would've received the hard copy yesterday. Excellent work, and when I get back into the chi, I'll look for you. :D:

Heather,
Nice pub, good quotes...I was one of the Puffer's crowd for the final game, so it would only be appropriate if you sign mine there

I guess the thread 4 down from this one titled "My debut on TimeOut Chicago Magazine. Must read. : )" (http://www.whitesoxinteractive.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=68365) didn't catch your eye.

I'll be at Puffers this Saturday night, and possibly Sunday before heading to DumpJerry's tailgate.

That url absolutely will NOT load for me - and if I try to approach it via the homepage and then the 'Around Town' section, I hti a subscription wall.
I guess they won't let anyone as far 'out of town' as I am read their stuff...
:whiner:

EDIT: By adjusting my Javascript/Adblocker, I've managed to get as far as the 'Out There' section, but even if I allow the Vampires at doubleclick.net temporary permission to attack my 'puter, I cannot load Heather's article. Meh!

Guess I'll have to live without it, and go back to viewing doubleclick.net as personae non gratae.

Sadly, DJ, you're right, that's why I have to make my game on the 14th special. I hear your birthday is that weekend...:bandance:

The great thing is that I was able to sell the ticket for that game to another WSIer!

I'll most likely be returning to the Toronto area from a couple days in Niagara Falls with my hunnie! I know that will be boatloads of fun! :bandance:

Oh, I expect to hear another Hangar18 media rant, because they slighted me by putting my interview where the pages fold together instead of in the outer margin!

Great interview, chisoxfanatic. The pic is very cute, and your replies are Sox fan eloquent. (Hmmm...makes me wonder what your preferred pic looks like.) Ha, I know I'm hopeless. There will be a lot of sellouts this year, and I agree, the sellout crowds create excitement (even watching on DirecTV). I'm anxious for the season to start. Last season was quite the ride.

Congratulations! I'm sure a bunch of other people will post this too, but they are talking about you on harry, mac and jurko right now. Harry said you are a "babe" and you would be a great guest on the show.

Congrats, Heather. Harry from MJH just mentioned you on ESPN1000 and said he would like to have you on the show. He didn't mention WSI though, he made it sound as if he was referring to the official site, saying something to the effect of "she's been to the White Sox website 3000 times." He later corrected it saying posts.

But isn't at least your Aunt a Sox Fan? Didn't she take you to see them and that's how you became a Sox Fan originally?
