On the page for Cool Standings http://www.coolstandings.com/baseball_standings.asp?i=1

Click on Chicago and then click Boost buttons for ChiSox offense and defense. Currently the Sox are in second place a game and a half behind the Indians but leading the Wild Card by 4.5 over the Angels. If fans click the boosts then the team improves on its fantasy ratings. Oddly, the Sox as of 1 September have a record of 9-7 against the Indians, are 7-9 against the Twins and 6-10 against Detroit. Now that's fiction.

I think there's a daily limit. I'm locked out from voting today.

You can also boost the opponents of other teams. I'm trying to sink Cleveland right now.

wild card champs
Just wanted to ask a question, and it's off topic. Why do people call the Wild Card winner, "The Wild Card Champions." Isn't the point of the Wild Card that you are not a champion of anything, you just got in there as the, "Wild Card" (aka not a champion, just the best record after the champions). Where did this whole, "Wild Card Champs," thing come from?
