Honestly... I'd be ecstatic if that happened!

The best bit - not a single individual award predicted and still we get to the world series!

Championship Series
White Sox over the Indians in seven

...Wow, that would be a blast of a series!

Of course, I love how no writer ever goes out on a limb and actually looks at how teams have changed. They just pick most of last year's playoff teams, and sprinkle in a team or two that came real close... and call it a "prediction".

Yet, every year 1/2 the playoff teams weren't there the year before... and there is ALWAYS 2+ teams that you'd never expect...

I'd predict the same. We don't have super stars. We have a super team.

LOL! Half of this board's membership would end up getting banned if a series ever went seven games. :D:

That's the way I meant it, we can do without superstars.

The Braves? :?:
They are definitely in the running this year, among several other teams. There's really not one "powerhouse" NL team right now, IMHO.

They'll be around, but as usual, their weak bullpen will do them in. My sleeper team, if healthy, is the dodgers. They look like our team last year, with more power. think blue.

The Sox are in the state where even should somebody (anybody) go down, they can still play very well and still be very well-rested when the playoffs come around. I don't think Cleveland is in that state, I don't think Atlanta is in that state and I doubt either one would last a long series against the White Sox.

Get two more good starters and I'll change my opinion, Carlos.
