I was in Idaho last week for my final ski trip of the season. When I arrived at the airport in Boise, I expected to see it named "Jenks International Airport" after the 24 year old native son who saved 2 of 4 World Series games last year. I also thought they would have signs reading "Welcome to Idaho. Birthplace of Bobby Jenks" I looked for the tour buses for the Bobby Jenks Birthplace Tour, but, alas, they were missing.

Lip, I assume you're a Idaho voter, let the Governor know how you feel!

I highly doubt they would name an airport after a pitcher who only has a couple of months of major league experience under his belt. David Letterman once tried to have an expressway named after him. He got an ally instead.
