Did everyone just see Ron Howard in uniform in the dugout talking to Scott? Maybe they're discussing a project. Scott's going to become a movie star. I wonder why he's really there... you'd think he'd be in the L.A. dugout.

They just showed him standing next to Scottie in the dugout decked out in Sox gear, and it looked like he was dipping. Good stuff, and it was funny thinking of Opie with a wad of chew in his mouth...:D:

Yeah I couldnt tell, but it is funny none the less to think of Andy yelling at Opie for dipping.

Probably asking for help to get his wife on a film project.

Ron Howard has sung "take me out to the ballgame" from the booth at Wrigley.

Boo @ fairweather Ron.

I can't get mad at Ron Howard.
He seems like a genuinely good person, and he was OPIE, for cryin' out loud!!
I'll even forgive the Cubbie dalliances.

Not to mention his involvement in Arrested Development

that alone makes him unhateable for life

Yep. If Ronnie Woo-Woo had been involved in Arrested Development, he'd be okay in my book.
Wait...maybe not.

Well if Ronnie Woo-Woo was involved in Arrested Development, the show would have sucked. Thus we wouldn't have cared.

I've met many SOX fans that have enjoyed Arrested Development (myself included).
What's up with that?
Could it be a genetic thing?

Because Sox fans are extemely intelligent and they recognize outstanding baseball as well as comedy when they see it.

A friend of mine was an extra in the movie Backdraft. He says Ron Howard was the nicest guy on the set. Now he's cool too.

While he was there I hope he talked to Kevin Hickey. That's really an amazing story about a blue collar south sider making it big in softball, then out of nowhere getting a big league shot!
