Sorry if this was already addressed elsewhere, but where's Scotty been? When I watch games or peruse box scores, I never see his name. What's up?

I thought he was 100% though. I think he's only played in 1 preseason game so far which is worrying me. He's our leadoff hitter and I want him to be zoned in as much as possible at the plate to start the season to spark the offense.

Maybe there just giving him some time out to fully heal and dont want to push anything and since he is a for sure roster spot maybe ozzie wants to see what else we have for our bench spots. Im sure we'll see him real soon though.

Staying sharp on the auxiliary fields , while the Sweeneys/Andersons/Owens/LTP et. al. are busy sorting out the last rostr spots?

I wouldn't be surprised if Ozzie is using him in B games

i remember hearing or reading somewhere that he had some shoulder soreness and ozzie was gonna give him some time off. I dont think it was serious, just normal stuff that come during ST i suppose. Sorry i dont have a link or anything....you're just gonna have to take my word for it.

He played in either 3 or 4 of the games I was at last week. He looked pretty good. Had a couple of hits. Didn't have any stolen bases IIRC. He did get caught stealin 3rd.

They most likely are bringing him around slowly because of the groin and the shoulder. I doubt there is anything wrong with him. He should be a little more active in the games to come. If not then we may have something to worry about.

Pods mentioned in the latest article at whitesox.com:

Scott Podsednik has not been in the lineup since March 6 and has only one hit in nine at-bats all spring. The issue, though, has nothing to do with his legs, which feel strong and healthy, according to the left fielder.

Instead, Podsednik is bothered by discomfort in his left shoulder, discomfort that Guillen believes came from swinging the bat too much early on in camp. Podsednik couldn't put a date on when he would return to the field, quickly adding that his focus is on April 2, against the Indians, and not the Cactus League contests.

I'd worry it would affect his throwing strength. But I guess that wasn't one of Pods' key tools to begin with.
