That is an amazing song. I love Nada Surf. Sorry to hijack the thread, but what is your favorite album?

Wow. Talk about a band that you don't really hear of anymore. What was that one song they hit it big with?

Ha, I have their new CD, its not that bad. But, I wouldn't want this as a theme song for this year.

Wasn't it called "Inside of Love"

Heh. Gotta do what I gotta do.

There's a reason that Nada Surf's music is never used as a stadium anthem...

That "Let's Do It Again!" campaign did so well in 1984, why not?

Nope it was "Sucked Out".

Anow now in my best Wayne Campbell impression............"It certainly does suck"

Honestly though, "Regretfully Yours" was their only CD I ever listened to, and that was one of two good songs off it.

Man, my bad, got my bands crossed up, this was Superdrag I was thinking of. ()'s music is all a jumble in my head....

Nope it was "Sucked Out".

Sorry, but you are both are incorrect. "Who sucked out the feeling" was done by Superdrag.

The "One Hit Wonder" band Nada Surf had a hit song in the mid-90s called "Popular" (the teenage guide to popularity).

As for the thread, I'd MUCH rather hear "Do it again" done by Steely Dan rather than the one by Nada Surf.

LOL! I didn't even catch that!

I blame it all on having my head in the clouds because of the happenings of October 26th, 2005. :D:

NICE!

If we absolutely had to switch from "Thunderstruck," that would be a nice direction to go! Steely Dan is 100x cooler and more devoid of wussiness than Nada Surf.

OUCH! Let me clarify: I'm suggesting a successor to "Don't Stop Believin." Story behind that wussy song is fun, if it helped the Sox take it all, rock on, but I'd like to move on now that we're champs. Nada's song is melodic, twee perhaps, but contains a sentiment that I've already heard many Sox fans say.

Steely Dan....JMJ, you've got to be kidding me?

Now on to the South Side Irish parade to drink away the pain from the flame....

No.. nonononono. If this were our "theme song" I think I'd become a cubs fans.. yeah ok let's be realisitic. Seriously though, that is terrible, unless I return to my freshman year of high school, grow a bowl-cut and play hacky sac. Can you imagine AJ and the boys in the locker room after a "White Sox winner... and a World Championship!!!" drinking and singing that song at the top of their lungs w/ the lead singer??? Me either.
