I just purchased a DVD about the Cardinals' history in the recently demolished Busch Stadium. The documentary itself is basic, but a bonus feature with the Budweiser Clydesdales is hilarious.

This is before one of the Redbirds' World Series games during the '80s, and the clydesdales come onto the artificial surface field through the right field wagon gate. On the wagon are its drivers, the dalmatian, and Cardinals/A-B owner Gussie Busch. With Busch Stadium organist Ernie Hays playing "This Bud's for You" and the crowd cheering madly, the wagon circles the infield.

At times, it seems the horses are distracted and start running. They must not be used to the organ music and loud fans. The final time around the infield, the clydesdales pull the wagon so that the wheels go right over second base going toward first. Then, they make a sharp turn and go over the pitcher's going toward the third base dugout followed by a sharp turn to the right toward third base. In the clip, you can see the drivers struggle to control the horses, the dalmatian petrified, and Mr. Busch struggling to hang on for dear life.
