I don't know if this is the right place for this thread. Jorge Velandia lives in the area and while we had 5am practices he came and worked out with us.

He tough me a couple things with my swing (even though its nearly perfect:redneck ) and helped our infielders on ground balls and such.

He seems like a great guy and I told him if he gets called up I'll be there. He responded by saying we should go out to the bars or something after the game!

I just read on here that he got reassigned to AAA I think so I figured I would share with all of you.:D:

My ballclub at my school is going down to Arizona next week and were going down to Tucson for a day to work out with the Sox at spring training set up by our Shortstop Oney Guillen (Yeah Ozzie's middle son). I can't wait...I'm so excited.

:o: small world. There arn't too many sox fans around these parts. It's mostly just a war between the cubs and cards.
