Well, if we only see it once, at least they picked a nice location. Sure beats those crappy US Cellular stores, eh?

Why does this have to be the week after Spring Break? Next week would have done fine.

Good ol' Lake County courthouse! I'll have to tell my parents to go.

Fisk, you are right in the heart of CP, huh?

I would still suspect there's going to be more Indiana dates, the tour supposedly extends well into the season. But hey, why not get your picture taken with it a few times? I know it's $10, but they charge per party, so if you 4-5 pals to come with it's only a few smackers and it's worth it to stand next to that thing.

How do you know it's the only stop? The site still says it goes through June

Well, I don't. But, they have scheduled up to May, and this is still the only Hoosier stop. Call it an educated guess

Speaking of Hangar, hasn't he had his personal Trophy Tour hit your digs yet?

Check your PM, Mitch.

Nice...March 21st is my birthday. We will probably stop at John's pizza on the square for lunch. What I really want is a picture of my 5 year old Nina and my 3 year old Nora around the trophy.:D:

The trophy will also be visiting the Creekside Golf Center in Valparaiso on Friday May 26th from 3:30pm-6:00pm. This was in the Post Tribune just a week or two ago.

This is correct, but it may be more costly that other "stops." Rumor has it that in addition to the $10 "requested donation" to White Sox Charities, there will be another admittance charge to benefit youth sports in the area.

Either way, $10 or $25, the charities are worth it; seeing the most magnificent trophy in all of sports (especially since it's ours): PRICELESS!!!

Why yes he did - at a "meatmarket" bar called The Registry. I was quite impressed that he made the trip at all, and then stuck around until 3am. Not that all the eye candy hurt :redneck.

You and about 540,000 other people. If it doesn't happen in Gary or Valpo, it's not worth reporting on.

If the P/T reports on Valpo, they sure don't do it in the Porter County editions... but then again, neither does the Times. Only way to get real news in Valpo is to stand around the Courthouse Square!

It is now The Times... the bastard Porter County child of the old Hammond Times.

Ahhhh - my old hometown. Those of you that are going to see it there can thank my uncle (the mayor) for that. He busted his behind (cause he's a Sox fan too so he wants to see it as much as the rest of us) to make sure it not only came to CP, but also that it was at the courthouse.

While you're there, someone go have a scoop of mint chocolate chip from Valentino's for me (a childhood fav)! :D:

I live about 2 blocks north - on West St. Graduated from Andrean in 87 - but I lived in M'town at the time. I've been in CP since 92.
