Everyone is listing Pena as Detroit's 1st baseman, whereas I am not certain he will even have a starting job. I think they have Shelton set to take over first full-time, no?

I just copied and pasted someone else's and changed the order of the names where I found it appropriate.

DH - Sweeney
Travis Hafner is one of the best DH's in the league. I would take Ortiz over him. Mike Sweeney, though, is not the hitter Hafner has been that past few years. If Sweeney can stay healthy, then it will be interesting. That is a big "if", though.

Not a whole lotta respect for Curtis Granderson, I think he's going to be one of the top 5 players in the division by '08. Scary Talent.

Not quite sure how you put Carlos Guillen 3rd...in his last 2 years (admittedly injury shortened in 2005) he's basically averaged 320/375/850. Peralta I can see, even though I would like to see one more year from him first, but as much as I love Juan's cannon arm, not sure I can take 252/301/712 over those numbers.
LF
Pods
Stewart
The rest don't come close to the top 2.
Brown
Michaels
Monroe
2005 #'s:
Brown 286/349/804
Michaels 304/399/814
Stewart 274/323/711
And really, those first two have a lot more potential to improve this year, while Stewart seems to have hit his ceiling (and lost ALL his speed, from 51SB in 1998 to 7 last year). I can see saying he's second based on past performance, but to say the gap is that large seems a bit off.
