The enigmatic left fielder, according to multiple sources, informed the team that once he reports to camp, he intends to stay, meaning his participation next month in the World Baseball Classic for his native Dominican Republic is unlikely. Ramirez is on the Dominican’s provisional 60-man roster, which must be pared to 30 on March 2, when the players are due to report to Orlando for workouts. It doesn’t appear that Ramirez will be there.
