If I'm reading that right, his car wasn't stolen; only the stuff inside was stolen. Who leaves $80k-100k worth of items in their car? Seems like guys who don't care much about $100k...

80-100G's worth of stuff?!?!:?:

Anyone know what kind of car he drives? If so, I'll have to uh... pay a visit to the players' parking lot sometime this season during a game...

Well, I'm off to dinner! I better bring these medieval paintings with just for the hell of it.

I realize that these dudes can drop some serious dough on jewelry without even thinking about it but this seems a little ridiculous...

I'm pretty sure Fredo's doing okay, even without the 100K.

I think it may have been like ALL of his stuff, or a lot of it. On Instant Replay, Ozzie said that Freddy was flying into Miami from Caracas, so I'm assuming he was bringing a lot of his stuff back to the States.

Yeah, it did mention that his passport was taken but the way the story was presented, it sounds like he had a lot of bling just lying around in the car.

Yeah, that's the reason he was late to spring training. All his stuff was in there, including passports and things like that, so he had to get replacements for the paper work,

Insurance pays 1 to 1 (homeowners in this case).

This less than a week after Duce Staley had $100,000-$150,000 worth of jewelry stolen from him AT A STRIP CLUB!

These guys just don't know how to keep their "bling" home. Or better yet, why spend so damn much on a car or jewelry?

With all that money, you would think Freddy could afford a car alarm for his automobile.

Welcome back to Florida, Freddy! You thought you were coming to a safer part of the world? Ha!

What a crumy way to start off the year. On the other hand, who in hell would leave all that stuff in the car? His papers are way too impotant to leave in a flashy car. If you don't want it stolen, take it with you.

I'm glad he got his docs replaced.

I hope and trust he has insurance to cover the loss of expensive jewelry and the like.

Please, a "good" thief can disarm most any car alarms no problem, I'm sure he had one. Plus what do you do when you hear a car alarm? Run over there, report it? I doubt it.

Sucks for Freddy regardless...

I feel bad for Freddy and all...

But this has all the makings of one of the best "Punk'd"s ever

Im hoping Ashton had a hand in this.

I guess there will be no replica rings or trophys for opening day series

Better yet, why didn't he get a cab or limo.

What a dumb move on his part. Has he ever heard of a debit or credit card? Who needs to drive around with that much of anything?

I heard it was a Cadillac Escalade. They come with a GPS, similar to lo-jack. However, it's located in a part of the car where it's easily accessible and disarmed. Don't ask me how I know this.
