Maybe I've been living under a rock, or just paying too much attention to '05 Sox highlights...

But what's up with Roger Clemens? Did he retire?

I hear Astros fans talking about his "absence"...

No, he doesn't know yet. He and Favre are going to talk it over some more.

May 3rd, St. Louis Cardinals (Chris Carpenter, 3-1, 3.43) vs. Houston Astros (Roger Clemens, NR) at The Juice Box.

He's going to pitch in the WBC, talk about how he's still undecided but hint at the fact that he still feels the passion for the game. He will be silent for a while, Opening Day will come, he won't have signed yet. Then towards the end of April, we will hear about how Clemens was spotted going in and out of Minute Maid Park and working out with the team. May 3rd, he's on the mound, at home, against the first-place/division rivals.

Last I knew Clemens can't resign with Houston until May 1, I think it is. I have also heard that The Rangers are interested. Other than the WBC, he hasn't decided as far as I know.
