I do not want to see SOX fans with banners, or Tshirts or anything else with this totally Unoriginal, Tired and Cliche "rally cry". Every teams fanbase thinks they are so clever and innovative when they use this term.

Lets not be one of them. thanks.

No kidding. That's what I see and hear every year from the lobotomized blue ones at Clark and Addison every year. They have wristbands, t-shirts and banners all over the place for the past few years. I've even heard drunken, floppy hat wearing ones yelling it out on the streets around that petri dish park of theirs.

if "don't stop believing" was the rally cry last year, why not make it local this year?

possibly:

"I'm not a robot without emotions-I'm not what you see
I've come to help you with your problems, so we can be free"

Domo!

man, that would be so awesome if there was a player whose nickname was mr. roboto(preferably from japan), and every time he hit a homer or did something well, nancy played the tune of "domo arigato, mr roboto..." (the end of the song when they say domo after this line) and the crowd yelled "domo!"

oh man. just think!!!!!

Some potential mottos:

"Never Stop Believing"......nah, too cheesy

"Believe it - again".....nope

"Just win again, baby"......uh, not interested in a lawsuit from Al Davis

"World Champions"........nice, but too historical

How about:
"Defend....or die trying"
"Repeat....or die trying"

How about "Where were all you people last year in April?" - Maybe that will be my own personal one...

How about no words and just a big middle finger with a ring on it? - not family oriented enough I guess, this can be my own personal one too!

How about "The Hunt for White October?"

With all due respect to TwoByFour, I gotta jump in here.

Grinder Rule #06: Every win is just the beginning.
Grinder Rule #17: Win early. Win often.
Grinder Rule #19: Throw strikes, not games.
Grinder Rule #83: Winning ugly. Winning pretty. No difference.
Grinder Rule #93: Good guys still wear black.
Grinder Rule #00: Sometimes you need a kid to do a man's job.
Grinder Rule #05: Analysts and experts don't win baseball games. Baseball wins baseball games.
Grinder Rule #06: History never repeats. Champions do.

...on second thought, I'll leave this one to the pros.

I don't know, Al is pretty old and getting senile. He might not be aware. Then again, the way he slaps lawsuits on people, it still might not be worth the risk... It's still the best quote in all of sports. I use it, as evidence from below...

I've got it. Playing off the Steelers slogan of "One for the thumb" and factoring in that most players on the team now have a World Series ring except our big offseason acquisition and most veteran player on the team, I give you...

"Win one for the Toe"

It can even be spelled Tho for the play on his name. :D:

Why the middle finger? That would make it obscene. Instead, use the ring finger in the middle finger pose. Nothing obscene on the shirt but the same message is conveyed.

White Sox pitching coach, Don Cooper, inadvertantly gave away the SOX slogan for 2006 in an article in todays Sun-Times:

At the White House

"I looked into the eyes of Mark Buehrle, I looked into the eyes of Jon Garland;
You know what? We've got the belt. We're the champs. Now we're defending that belt.
Looking into their eyes, I think we're going to be
REAL SON-OF-A-BITCHES
and not let anyone take it away from us."

What a perfect slogan for this team!

Have some generic gangsta with a grille and one championship ring on his hand, and he's saying "Hustlin' fo' the bling!"

"Hustlin' fo the bling!"

That is a pun that I like and works for the team, doesn't it? Even alone, without the gangsta.

Why the middle finger? That would make it obscene. Instead, use the ring finger in the middle finger pose. Nothing obscene on the shirt but the same message is conveyed.

There is a billboard ad, or was, on 294 where a woman's hand is holding her ring finger in the same way you would flip someone off, and I believe the tag line was "she's not enraged, she's engaged" When you're driving 80, it does look like she's flipping everyone off so it gets your attention. A play on that slogan would be pretty funny, and it wouldn't be too obscene like you said.
