Not a bad list, but a couple things:

If Thome only has 87 BB this year, that will mean he gets hurt or will be on the bench. He's averaged about 116 BB his last six full seasons.

I cannot see Iguchi hitting that high, in all honesty. He is not patient enough and has a high KO history. If he does, it will be a light .313 BA. If I am wrong, you can hold me to these words.

If he's at full strength, Pods should have over 75 SB's and score 100+ runs in his sleep if the hitters behind him just do their career norms. If he plays 150+ games and does not have 100+ runs scored, that means we'll be in trouble because either our 2-5 hitters will not be good or Pods is hitting about .230. So if Konerko leads the team in runs scored, unless he draws a Frank-like 120+ BB's, I think that would be a problem.

But otherwise, the others are pretty realistic.

Not bad. I expect Buehrle to lead in W's though. Hopefully around 21 and a CY Young to go with it. K's I would have to say Garcia, and Ls possibly Vasquez. Other than that though, not too bad a list. The numbers can be smudged here and there.

Pretty good. I say Buehrle leads wins and Garcia leads ERA and K's. Garland is still a question mark in my mind. He was good last year, but I can't begin to predict his season, because he's been inconcistent in the past.

I think Konerko will lead in walks because pitchers are starting to see how this guy can lead a team. I'm with soxinem in that Iguchi won't bat that high. I don't even think he will lead the team in average. I will go with Pods at about .300, and to lead the team in runs. However, I think Iguchi will lead the team in doubles.

Just curious how you have Pods getting the most hits but Gooch having the highest BA? Do you think Gooch is gonna rack up a ton of walks in the 6 hole?

Pods, if healthy and plays 155+ games, will get over 600 at-bats as the lead-off man. Iguchi is supposed to be batting 5th, 6th, or 7th, he'll probably get between 500-550 at-bats. Pods will probably hit over .300, but I just see Iguchi as the best BA guy on our team this year.
