Outfielder Joe Borchard, first baseman-outfielder Ross Gload and left-handed reliever Arnie Munoz are out of options and must make the Opening Day roster or other teams may claim them on waivers.

This was in the tribune. I knew about Borchard and I kinda thought Gload was but I didn't think Munoz was. Can anybody confirm this?

Munoz was added to the 40-man roster after the '02 season (http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/team/transactions.jsp?c_id=cws&year=2002&month=11) and optioned to the minors the last three years, so he is out of options.

Is anyone truly out of options?
