People can cheer for ND and Indiana?

the NBA & NHL don't really interest me

Yep I'm an Irish Catholic who grew up near Notre Dame & I graduated from IU

My relatives have been going to ND football games since the stadium opened

my dad was at the '49 0 to 0 tie with Army in New York & the '66 10to 10

at MSU, both resulting in national titles....my great aunt & uncles were there

watching Rocknes last teams

Your extremely lucky, the Sox are the only one of my top 4 teams that have even come close to winning a national title in my lifetime. Well OSU basketball has been to the final four twice but we couldnt advance past the semifinals either time.

This Sox world title was VERY important to me, since I have zero faith in the Blackhawks ever winning anything. I can really see the Hawks coming up on 2061 and their own Century Of Futility.
Don't care about baseball or basketball, so the Sox winning was the BEST thing that could have possibly happened.

Mr. Dollar Bill once said "Who needs a championship? I have my own stadium with skyboxes."

Thank you Dollar Bill.........I just love watching the Hawks home games on T.V.

I only have one team and one sport, so my only teams have now won too. But I was at IU for the undefeated 1975-75 season and smiled when they the championship tournaments in 1981 and 1987.

Yes - Not conceived until two years after the glorious 1966 title.

I would love to see one of my nationalities (I have several - I am a European mutt) win it. England and Poland are probably the best two options I have. Poland finished 3rd twice recently so they have been closer than England. I have many relatives in England today and they would be my top choice to take the cup. Hopefully they will get it done before I pass.
