Do they still have Mulholland? If so, Pohland may be trying to start his own version of Jurassic Park inside the baggie dome.

Rondell White and Ruben Sierra? Why not pick up Karim Garcia or David Justice while they're at it? Danny Tartabull?

6 years ago I was at an Atlantic League game in Nashua and they announced now batting for Atlantic City, Ruben Sierra and I swear I said to someone "is it his kid?"

It is these sorts of minor league signings of over the hill ex-big leaguers that serve as the best barometer of which ballclubs are simply going through the motions.

These aren't the moves of a team trying to win very much. If Terry Ryan doesn't understand it, I guarantee players like Torii Hunter and Johan Santana do. Only their own professionalism prevents them from throwing in the towel right now.

I'm surprised Hendry didn't make an offer. The Flubs are famous for deluding their fans with this sort of nonsense.

I do recall seeing rumors of the Cubs possibly giving him a minor league deal, but give them some credit for bringing in Marquis Grissom. :redneck

Good insurance after their outfield fails to produce, there will be an outfield of DHs, like we were.

Do they allow players to play in the outfield in wheelchairs?

No, he's on vacation. Instead, they'll give a call to Willie Greene and Shane Andrews.

Isn't he busy washing cars?

yup

Former Red Sox slugger Mo Vaughn is brining his latest business venture to Massachusetts. The 'Hit Dog' and two other investors are pumping $7.5 million into a high-end car wash on Route 1 in Attleboro.

But this is much more than just a car wash. The Herald reports the "Mo Vaughn Express Car Wash" will include include a touchless washer for fancy cars, a 160-foot tunnel for other cars, six bays for detail cleanings, quick-lube oil change bays, a gas station, a convenience store, a Dunkiní Donuts, and a mini baseball park out back.
