Twins signed outfielder Tim Raines Jr. to a minor league contract.
It's becoming more apparent that Jason Tyner won't have a spot on Minnesota's bench, and no Triple-A team is going to need both Tyner and Raines. Raines, 26, hit .254/.302/.376 with 27 steals for Triple-A Ottawa last season

Should we try to turn him into a spy?

I think I would rather have Tyner on my bench than Borchard, Timo Perez or Willie Harris.

He fits in well with the Ozuna, Mackowiak small ball-versatile mold of player.

Has anyone signed Matt LeCroy after the Twins let him go?

Dont tell me you want him on our team. He's a below avergage catcher and first -baseman, who happens to be slower than Paulie, and oh yeah he's fat. Doesnt sound like an ozzie-ball bench player to me.
