Star tribune had this in today newspaper

The Twins have been checking the free-agent market for a lefthanded hitter. That could mean they are looking at such players as Erubiel Durazo, Dave Hansen and Timo Perez. Hansen's agent has been in touch with the Twins, but it's unclear how much interest the Twins have in him. Perez has played in two World Series, in 2000 with the Mets and last season with the White Sox.

I hope not. I've got a bad feeling Timo would be a Sox- Killer.

Timo would fit in well with the Twins way of playing baseball. It would break my heart to see him go there.

Hey-oh!

I appreciate the big hits Timo got for us the past few years, but I'm not too worried about him joining the Twinks .... to say the least

Good luck Timo

Erubiel Durazo is a guy they should be looking at, they already have a bunch of singles hitters the way it is. Besides, White will be OFTS by end of July anyway.

After reading Bova's article about Twins Fest, I'm convinced this is the move that will put them somewhere.....not sure where.

Now, c'mon guys, Timo's a decent hitter, at least now and then, and er uh well he um is um a ..... he's got a good arm, right? and uh ... he can outrun Konerko that's for sure and um, ...... gulp..... yep ...... I'd say he'd be a dog gone fine addition to the Twins organization as a starting outfielder ....... Best of luck to ya, Timo!
