Kind of blows that they wouldn't give a replica ring to everyone on the 4th, since that game is probably going to sell out now, but whatever. I guess I just need to get some tickets and show up ass early.

I'm sorry to not see a repeat of Nothing But Nancy Day. :(:

What time do you think the lines will start forming for the April 4th and 5th games? Those replicas will be up on ebay about 30 minutes after the gates open.

Not to mention people just selling them in the stadium.

No, that game was moved to a 12:05 start earlier this month.

I'm a little suprised the promotional schedule is not much bigger this year. I would think sponsors would be jumping at the chance to be associated with a world champion and have a direct link to 30K + per night.

I wonder if they'll also have them for sale at the gift stands. That's what they did, IIRC, with the Bulls' "Sixth Man" rings--gave away a set number, but you could also buy them.

There's a lot of "sponsors" and "promotions" but no give away days. There are still ways to make money without giving anything away.

The Cubs series is "presented by" Miller Lite on 19, OfficeMax on 20, and United Airlines on 21.

I just want to let everyone know the good stuff...actual give-aways.

Anyway, what is a "Mini Baseball Collectors Ballpark"? I think i've got tickets to that game.

Note to self: Get to park very early on the 4th

Thanks Mike. Actually, according to Whitesox.com, it's at 12:20. I'm a little upset because I bought 50 tickets for that game for my ski club and was using the the fact that it was a fireworks night to help me sell the tickets (Cub fans). Now I'll get to show off the local bars after the game to these greenhorns.

Before anyone castigates me for bringing 49 Cub fans to Comiskey, let me inform you that last year we did a Sox game outing and it was the Yankees game where we rocked The Big Unit and broke the 7 game losing streak.

Kinda sad that I'll only be getting a rally sock. I was hoping for replica championship flags, like the ones they made for your car.

Nevermind my last post.

Congratulations, Brooks Boyer, you have made me purchase an Ozzie Plan. Replica Ring day, Replica Trophy day, my birthday, Cards and Astros games, and a bunch of other ones too.

Just $193 for upper reserved. That's actually quite reasonable.

April 21 Dog Day

WHAT?!?!? After hearing that Dog Day might be cancelled, I guess I should be happy they're having it all.... But how much sense does it make to hold it on a Friday night game? :?: I brought my dog to it last year (first time she was old enough), and was hoping to make it a tradition. Since I work, and live 2 hours away.... guess not!

Yeah, dog day on a Friday night seems like a mistake. It would most likely be on a Saturday or Sunday, during the day. Also, the weather in April sucks, that's another question mark.
I'd like to see an official promotion schedule. This can't be right... can it?

I was thinking it might be a mistake. It just doesn't make sense. I wonder if they would still have the dog parade before the game? Of all the promotions to have at night, this one doesn't seem right.
