Florida won the World Series in the last decade.

And Disney really likes having a baseball team just for the sake of having one.

If Montreal develops good talent it might also be a good idea to move them.

But other than that it's not bad. Good points about Interleague Play and minimal amount of movement.

Tampa Bay has to go, they are never going to win.

Move the Expos to Washington (which could happen this year)

Give Minnesota one calendar year to get a stadium deal otherwise give them the ax.

I myself wish they would scale back on the number of games in your division.

Exactly, the past really doesn't mean anything when it comes to money.

I'll trade you one of my NBA titles for one of your World Series titles.

Actually, you know what would work? It would never happen, but if baseball really is in economic trouble, contract the Yankees and Mets. Just throw them out. Then move the Expos, Marlins, Twins AND D-Rays to New York. Let those four teams split up that huge market. Then you'll see some economic parity. Besides, it would really chap some hides.

Soxhead, I know what you meant too, I was just kidding.

I read your columns. Good points. One point I where I disagreed with your though was your assesment of Derek Hasselhoff. He going on 29 years old. He's got 6+ yrs in the minors. Hasselhoff appears to me to be a career minor leaguer.

While Alan Embree was terrible, it seems that the deal was a no lose situation. The Sox probably would have lost Hasselhoff in the off-season, as it appears that San Fran has lost him too. Hasselhoff appears to have not been protected by San Fran and may have been picked up by another team. Hasselhoff is not listed on the Giants roster or on their minor league teams.

At that time the assesment of Hasselhoff was that if the Sox lost Foulke, he could step in.
