Might open the door back up on the Erstad trade.

Doubt they still want Garland though, seeing that they traded for Appier.

Actually when I think about it why wouldn't they want Garland? Erstad is gone in a year anyway so why not get a good young pitcher for him?

I'm a closet ducks fan (tough for me to admit in public) and whenever I would look at the ducks espn board there would tons of posts along the lines of "TAVARES SUCKS!!!" because he made the most idiotic decisions. I've never seen anything like it...oh wait

They have decent young pitching, they need offense more than anything else.

Well they could always turn around and deal him. I'm sure you wouldn't shed a tear if they dealt Carlos.

Is this the guy who backed the Angels out of the trade, or was that Eisner?

It was Tavarez,Eisner has nothing to do with the running of either team.

On a completely off topic subject. Micheal Eisners main office at the Burbank Disney Studios has a direct sightline to my house. He could be looking at my house right now!<dunt dunt duuuuuuunnt>
