I'm not sure if this belongs in the Clubhouse, but I wanted to compliment
Guy Bacci on his latest outstanding article. Bacci expressed things that
I have felt but can't put into writing as well as him. I loved his points
about the lousy WS ratings in 1999 and 2000. The latter was the lowest-
rated Series ever before this year; so while ESPN and Co. got all a-twitter
over the "Subway Series" the rest of the country east of Bristol, Ct. didn't
give a good rip.

I only wish Guy Bacci was able to state his thoughts on ESPN or any other
national "mediot" outlet.

I really like all of Bacci's columns.

My only question is, does he post here? If so, who is he?

He posts as "Hangar 18."

Hey Pat, if you're at SoxFest, I'll do the same for you as I offered Brooks Boyer a little while ago (for putting up with all the emails from WSI). I'll buy you your choice of beverage. If you're not, this offer is only good between January 27-29, so you're SOL.

That article inspired me to write Colin Cowturd an email. I simply let him know that good sports journalism is hard to find and that he has lost a listener.

I've been here for almost 3 years and I've always wondered this as well. I was just too embarassed to ask.
