If this indeed happened in 2004 this had to be a low water mark in White Sox promotion history

7/07 - Joan Cusack Beanie Baby Giveaway - First 10,000 Kids
7/08 - Joan Cusack Beanie Baby Giveaway - All Kids - 9,000 Dolls Remaining
7/09 - Joan Cusack Beanie Baby Giveaway - All Kids and Adults - 8,000 Dolls Remaining

It's a joke. And not a very good one.

Cubs fans don't have much else to do in October except make up this kind of stuff.

He should have included the 2005 promotional schedule, which would have included:

October 22-23: World Series Programs on sale

They play baseball?

Well, Mr. Nostradamus did predict a "Supercuts Mullet Night", so kudos to him.

Am I the only one who found this to be hilarious? If we can't laugh at pig-ignorant stereotypes of ourselves, what can we really laugh at?

For "being practical" but "looking dangerous", nothing beats a good wallet chain.

"Back in the day (add that to the previous list of phrases that need to go)," my high school banned the use of wallet chains. So I used an old telephone chord.

Ingenuity!

I actually thought quite a few of them were funny. My post was more a jab at fenway for asking if the list was a joke.

"Menards Tattoo Night" is my favorite. Does this mean people with tattoos of the Menards logo get in for free? Or does it mean that Menard's is at the park and giving out free tatoos? The possibilities are endless!:redneck

Is this Hangar's car with his replica trophy?

No. It's a Cub fan's car. Reason you can tell the difference:

Cub fans, having never seen a real WS trophy, assume it to be made of tin(much like their dreams). Hence, the color.

A Flub fan would have that mythical "Attendance" trophy glued to the hood of a VW Jetta...

Who had that commercial where the guy was sitting in front of his computer, clicking away and all of a sudden it says "You have reached the end of the internet. Please go back now."

Then he walks into the room where his wife is sitting and she asks him "I thought you were surfing the web" and he just says "I finished it".
