SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic (AP) - Pitcher Jose Lima is negotiating with the Pirates and Diamondbacks, the Dominican righthander said, denying he has signed with the San Diego Padres.

I think it would be a good move for him to move to SD; his numbers might look respectable there compared to 2005:
