In Pittsburgh, I was up at a Borders, and they had a World Series history book that includes the 2005 White Sox winner! The celebration's on the cover, and the book is loaded with stats and background of every series ever played. Good Stuff!!

If you have a chance, run by Borders and pick one up. They were on sale for 16 bucks, and they're primo! If this has already been discussed, please delete, mods!

I got this for xmas. It's a coffee table book for the most part, gives 3-4 pages per WS year. Nice, though, that they have the stats for all of the games, plus a ton of records...

NOTE: I believe in the East Coast bias, but I was bored and had to type something.

Is it the one by Josh Leventhal? Because I was planning on ordering it with some other books from B&N.

Sure sounds like one, but a good one. They do have their place in literature. I'll probably buy it next time I go to Borders.

I bought it for my son for Christmas, and read it in line while I checked it out. A little too much NYY, but hey, 26 WS Championships will do that.

Really an excellent and reasonably priced (big heavy photo-filled) book.

Oh, and having ChiSox on the cover make it a must!

Yes, that's the one. I got this as a Christmas gift, too. A must for hard-core baseball fans, not just because it includes the 2005 season.
