It's on the Sox Pride DVD. Maybe you can rip it and convert to MP3...

Followed by Farmio with the "give him a top hat and a cane, because he's a magician!"

That was a great call by both guys.

Specifically you'll find it during the MORE WHITE SOX HIGHLIGHTS among the DVD bonus features. :D:

Rooney had some great calls throughout the entire postseason. I still save my favorite is after Uribe's catch in the stands

You know what's weird? Bob Elson stopped calling the Sox when my dad was my age.

I'lll never forget being upstairs back when I was in High school. I'd turn up the radio real loud so my Dad could hear it downstairs. I remember specifically in 92 when Bo had some late inning heroics. Rooney was great. You got to rank him up there with Sculley, one of his influences. We are lucky we had him for as long as we did.

Is there anyway to burn the ESPN 1000 radio montage onto a cd?

Surely there is. If no one can get the wma to a CD I will see what I can do to convert it to a wav and host it tonight.

edit: The wav is 112 Mb  I will host an mp3. You can burn to a cd ;)

Thanks for this!
I've heard a handful of Rooney Radio spots down here in St Louis. My gain is Chicago's loss. :?:

BTW, the clip is also available here:

It's embedded into a page, but you can listen to it, at least.

A big thank you to SSIRISH 317 and others for the Sox 05 montage. I am a huge Rooney fan and you just gave me my new favorite souvenir of the 2005 season. If we had to lose Rooney, thank God we had him for 2005.
