Which team to win it all in 06? So far...

Yankees 19.0
Sox 15.6

Pretty good. To me it means we won...the Yankees are always gonna take that poll considering it's ESPN.com.

We totally have biggest story wrapped up over there. Also, Konerko with a solid showing in MVP and Frank as well in comeback for 06.

"From the high of the Chicago White Sox breaking their own curse and winning the team's first championship since 1918 to the low of Rafael Palmeiro earning a suspension for steroid use soon after collecting his 3,000th hit, the past year in baseball seemed to have a little bit of everything."

Isn't it Bobby Jenks as the young player I most want to watch? But I can't see a 100 mph fastball. I'm also looking forward to watching KKKKKorey Patterson strike out 5 times a game for the scrubs. If he's traded, then who cares.

I CAN NOT stand that woman!!! Seriously, just hearing her name, is enough to make me upset!

She was in Maxim or FHM or one of those men's magazines and she had like 4 or 5 pictures of her and an interview.

She didn't look that bad in the pictures, but in the interview she came off as an INCREDIBLY stuck up person, like she was the greatest woman ever.

And if that wasn't bad enough, one of my friends told me that he saw her on some program where she was being interviewed and she acted like the network interviewing her was sooooooo lucky to have the chance to talk to her. I wish she would just go away! What does she do anyway?? Is she an actress or what? Or is she just "famous" because she dates a pro ball player??

Is the Sox commanding lead in almost all categories (including the Cubs as the biggest disappointment  ) a reflection of Sox Army? When I voted just now, there were almost 12,000 votes registered. If that's us for the most part, we're more than an Army...We're an Empire! :D:

I don't get why people are voting for the Cubs as the biggest disappointment of '05. Don't any of you know what that implies?

The Jays and the Mets OVERPAID for everyone. How can that be considered 'helping itself." Getting Paully and JG back with Thome hands down puts us first in this questions. Kenny "helped" a whole lot by not overspending.

Exactly, just becuase teams are spending money and being active doesn't mean that they're getting better.

People actually picking the Marlins...is their payroll back above $20 million now? Who is their highest paid player now? I think D-Train is still on his rookie contract, so it's probably not him. Maybe it's one of their FA's...

I wonder what the odds are for them winning the series. I'd put them at about 2,000-1 or so to start.
