Saw a nice rumor in the "Cub-Une" this morning about Mo Vaughn being traded to the Mets for Kevin Appier. The deal is contingent on the Angels getting out of the 50 odd mill they owe Mo over the next three years.Well,Appier is owed at least 7 to 8 mill over the next 3 years by the Mets. How does this make sense?? Oh,I forgot. It's baseball. No sense required. :?:

I think this is a really stupid trade and I think Anaheim deserves to be burned by this trade. Hopefully they both get burned by it because it is just a sick trade to spite Mo Vaughn.

I don't think it is just to spite MO....He has simply not been good on the Angels, and if you can save some money and add a quality pitcher like Appier ...thats not a bad decesion

How many games has Mo actually played for the Angels?

Not too many me thinks.

Exactly. And he still yearns to play in Boston....not a good combination
