After a 2005 season with no bobblehead day, hopefully we will have one this year as a promo. I think maybe it's MB's or AJ's turn. I know that Oakland had a Dye bobblehead day and Milwaukee had a Pods bobblehead day. Paulie has already had one and Freddie had one in Tacoma. Who's your pick?? :smile:

That would be better than the Esteban Loaiza bobble head day they had in 2004 a couple weeks after being traded.

We probably didn't have one in '05 because the bobblehead fad has kind of faded out.

I wouldn't mind seeing some kind of Frank figurine for Frank Thomas Appreciation Day.

They could also give out some kind of a group scene from the celebration on the mound after Game 4. A team figurine would be pretty neat (probably too expensive to mold and give away, though).

This makes the most sense. A player can be traded, injured, or have a terrible season before the bobblehead day, leading to a Loaiza-esque situation.

Kenny Williams you can't have those problems with. A bobblehead of Kenny Williams holding the World Series trophy would go over well, I think. He's at least in the top 5 most popular GMs in baseball, if not better now that the guy in Boston is gone.

I'm not really a fan of Frank Thomas Appreciation Day until he hangs them up for good. Then you can go crazy.

I would wait in line for a Jenks bobble head... but it will never happen. The box would be too big!
