I would prefer that the Sox not face him nineteen times.

You won't.

Optimistically, I give his over/under on games played to about 90. If he plays in 100 games, he'll be a steal for whomever signs him.

Same here. I would prefer a National League team to sign him so we wouldn't have to face him, but that's not exactly an option.

I don't know if a national league team would sign a 1995 Frank much less sign a 2005 Frank!

Hopefully he goes to Oakland (if he continues to play) so that way he is part of a good ballclub and we will see him minimally...but when we do see him i will root for him regardless of the situation.

I'm also hoping he ends up in Oakland. The sight of him in a Twins uniform would be sickening.

I think Frank will go to the A's. For one its closer to Las Vegas (Frank's Home) and I believe their spring training is in Arizona (also closer to franks home). Secondly one of his close friends during his sox career would be right across the bay in San Fran (Ray Durham).

Maybe Frank's not headed for Minnesota...

Rondell White?? (http://sports.espn.go.com/mlb/news/story?id=2268838)

Just saw that on Rotoworld. It sure doesn't seem that they would pick up a guy who can only DH if they plan on using Rondell White at DH. The only thing I could think of is that if I'm the Twins, it might make sense to sign White, use him in the outfield 4 days a week and DH him the rest of the time, then sign Frank to DH when White is in the outfield. It might make sense, depending on how cheaply Frank could be signed, and that way they're not as reliant on Frank being completely healthy.

Of course, the sight of Thomas in a Twins uniform would make me want to shove sharp objects into my eyes. I would much prefer he winds up with a team that I hate less, although it looks like his options are diminishing barring more trades.

Rondell White just ended those chances of Frank in a Twins uni.
