The Chronicles Of Farmio, ok I didn't think it up. I heard Boers say it the other day. Then this morning Farmio was on The SCORE.

We need someone crafty with Photoshop to alter a The Chronicles Of Narnia movie poster to a poster for The Chronicles Of Farmio. The Chronicles Of Farmio could be a place for all discussions of what Farmio has recently said.

The Chronicles Of Farmio would be a long, slow-paced, drab, meandering mess, unless it was narrated by John Rooney.

I remember reading that over and over when it first came out, and laughed out loud. Reading a year later, has the exact effect. Awesome thread!

It needs a Canadian flag with an x through it.

Idiot.

You don't need to be anti-Canadian to find humor in Farmer's comments about the Canadian national anthem.

Not to get to far off-topic, but what exactly is Farmio's beef with Canada?

When the Sox were playing either a road game in Canada or had a Canadian team at home, Farmer complained that some Sox players were standing for the Canadian anthem. He said that they shouldn't do that; that they should only stand for their anthem.

That's all my Canadian flag comment was meant to reference. Its part of the Farmio lore, along with him not being a big fan of hats being worn cocked to one side or sunglasses on caps.

It's not quite accurate. He said that he hates it that American players place their hats over their heart in allegiance to Canada and the Canadian anthem. He said American players should only pledge their allegiance to America and the Star Spangled Banner. He went on to say, It's a nice song... show it respect? Sure, but don't pledge allegiance to it.

It's kinda ironic that he used the term allegiance as putting your cap over your heart isn't pledging allegiance to the American Flag, America, or the Star Spangled Banner. As Americans we have something for pledging allegiance to the flag, and it's called The Pledge of Allegiance.

Idiot.

Farmer hates going to Canada - Changing the currency, his anthem issues, the SkyDome, etc. I don't think the X through the Canadian flag was meant as a jab at Canada by the poster but rather the cornucopia of all things Farmeo.

Americans will defend their stars and stripes to the death, but it's OK to draw a big X across someone else's flag, even in jest? :?:

We both know Farmio is bigger than Canada.

When I attended a game at USCF versus the Blue Jays, I noticed that when Gene Honda told all of us to stand for the Canadian and U.S. national anthems, Farmer sat through the Canadian anthem

I dunno, I grew up watching the Iron Sheik give the old HOCK-PATOOWIE onto the US flag and it never bothered me all that much. But then, when you had boots as cool as the Iron Sheik, everything you did was cool.
