While driving home from Michigan for winter break today, I heard that the trophy is on display at Navy Pier for the weekend (get your picture taken, etc.). A friend and I were wondering...where does it go next? Does anyone know an approximate schedule as to where/when it will be on public display in the city? I know Ozz has taken it to Venezuela already, but I can't imagine that all the players have had their 24 hours with it yet (or is that just a Stanley Cup thing?). Let's hear your thoughts/ideas/info if you know any.

I love it. Keep making the trophy available for all of Chicago, northern Illinois and Central Illinois to see. I give kudos to the Red Sox for pulling that off. Great PR!

This brings up a good question. The Angels built a display for their 2002 WS Trophy. It's right in front of the gift shop as you enter Anaheim Stadium.

Where will the White Sox display the WS Trophy at Sox Park?

I don't know this for sure, but I thought that maybe they would create a place for it in the Hall of Fame (next to the Gift Shop near Home Plate). They have a great display window and some great history there. Any thoughts?

I just got back from Navy Pier. No line to view the trophy even for it being in a high traffic area on a Saturday, but a good amount of people decked out in Sox gear seen throughout the buliding. Parking was easy (right under the buliding for $22). If we wanted to just see the trophy, we could have been in and out in less than a half hour. I suggest you all head down there and do this on Sunday, after the Bears game of course

It says in the ad: "you can get your photo taken with the trophy," and a $10 donation is to be made to White Sox charities. Does this mean you get to hold the trophy for the picture?? There wasnt a donation requested when it was at city hall. I would pay at least $10 to hold the trophy for a picture.

Does anyone else find it ironic that most of the places to view the trophy are up north?

Needless to say, I was hoping for Naperville. It is one of the biggest suburbs of Chicago, with a lot of Sox fans! The bars/rest. were packed on the night they won! (that was the best night of my life!)

I'm pretty sure you will not get to hold the trophy. All you need is some dope to break off a flag and that'll be the end of the tour.

I paid $5 at a Hawks game a few years ago for a photo and the ability to "touch the cup". Awesome experience, but they would not let you lift it up like the players.

I agree. Instead, they have it going to 2 locations on N. Clark Street (one less than a mile from the Urinal!). :o: They also have it up in Algonquin (Cub territory), but not in Naperville, Orland Park, or points in between. :(:
