Wow. that bookcover is EXCELLENT. PHG, whoever came up with that idea for the picture, THUMBS UP. George, PLEASE, get out there and PROMOTE THE HELL out of this book. The Media should be falling down running trying to get you on their radio shows, Tv morning shows, gratuitious mentions by Kiley, Murphy, Mitchell should also be in order. A shout out by every radio show in town is also in order .......... I'll arrange it PHG ........if you
promote it :D: . Its an excellent, timely and novel idea, and the charity
is perfect. Too many "columnists", blow-hards, and get-rich-quick-cub-fans have made fortunes printing GARBAGE with the little blue bear logo knowing sheep will mindlessly buy it. The shelves at Borders bend under the tremendous weight of the blue propoganda ............ and get FREE HYPE to do so.
This is a very good cause, and I hope like heck it succeeds .............Cheers

Wow, My dedication made the free preview! Im broke, so I told my mom this would be a good stocking stuffer. A Truly great idea and something that will remind us of the better parts of our lives. The book( without reading it yet) seems to remind me of the qoute that " I spent the better part of my life thinking I was gripping the baseball until I realized it had always been the other way around".

I placed an order for one yesterday for my dad as a Christmas gift. Do you think it will be delivered before Christmas? It's being shipped to Chicago so maybe that will make it faster.

I ordered mine the day it came out (12/5) and was told it would take at least nine days. It was at my Chicago address the morning of December 9th. I couldn't believe it. It seems like others are getting theirs quick as well, so you may just luck out.

Received my book yesterday. What an awesome idea to put these dedications into print. Seeing the dedication to my Dad was fantastic (p. 69) and brought chills to my pre-Christmas celebration. But even better was the reminder that I am not alone in my love (fanaticism) for the White Sox. I love this team, but sometimes I love the fans just as much.

Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and a great New Year!!!

Go Sox!!!!

Mr.MarySwiss and I had our annual post-Holiday party last Saturday. Of course, I wore my Konerko road WS Champs jersey and my locker room hat. I also had my printed-out "Twelve Days of White Sox Christmas" on display in the family room, along with the Champs T-Shirt and all my other Sox-related stuff.

But the thing that got the most attention was the "Dedicated To..." book. Non-Sox fans--including the Steelers fans present--were really impressed with it, especially after I told them the story of how it came into being.

I think we have created something unique--something to be proud of for years to come. Every time I leaf through it--and I do, quite often--it reminds me of how special it is to be a Sox fan.

Not that I needed reminding!

You're post from Dedicated To... is part of the Amazon.com excerpt. Looks like a great book -lot of weepin' I fear.

I really enjoyed the book. When I re-read my dedication, thinking of my grandpa and dad brought a tear to my eye.

Thanks for telling me; I didn't realize it. They excerpted the first few pages and showed the covers. Nice.

Just ordered a copy. I say you/we round up some people and hassle the crap outta local bookstores to put it on their shelves. I think it would do really well. If I can be involved in any way/shape/form, let me know. Take care.
