Damn. Was hoping FG would opt for rest. Gonna have to handle him with some care this year so he doesn't break down in the stretch run.

All for a pointless tournament. Oh well.

I have a feeling this thing is going to be a complete disaster. The baseball season is long enough already. I hope pitchers aren't suffering injuries this year because of this (and that includes all teams, just not the Sox).

It already is a disaster. When a guy like Mike Piazza can play for Italy, it's a sad, pathetic, money-driven display by Uncle Bud.
