I watched this video on mlb.com and am planning on getting my hands on it now. It is an hour long and summarizes sox play off appearences since 1917, and summarizes the season and playoffs up to the world series, there is no world series content. It doesn't have the fancy music of the world series dvd but it does show all of the key plays (including how each run was produced in each game) in the playoffs that were left off the other videos. This is nice to have because watching some of these key plays reminded me of how I felt at the time that happened. All in all, it is a good supplement to the world series dvd and some what better than the sox pride dvd.

It also has some historical faux paus as when the announcer says game #1 of the 1959 World Series was 'opening night,' and when the announcer says that after the Mariners winning the first two games in Chicago in 2000 'the Sox home post season losing streak had reached five game.' (In actuality it was ten dating back to game #2 of the 1959 World Series.)

Nope - it uses that horrible Windows Media DRM software lockouts, so you can't burn it or copy it, and worst of all, you can play the video at all on a Mac.

I hate Bill Gates. Person of the year, my a**

I haven't seen any ways to convert DRM-enabled movies to other formats... but there are ways to capture the video from the free stream.

Well, It is not DRM protected. I converted last night to Mpg2 (DVD format) and file is too big to post(3.9 gig). But I am here to let you know it is possible. There are 2 spots that they added extra frames and did not change the frame count which causes problems during any conversion.

I love watching Marte jumping up and down like a little kid in the bullpen on PK's grandslam.
