Look for the attached full page ad with Konerko and Thome on Sunday in the Trib and Monday in the Times. I had some fun with the fact that they both have very similar swings and that's it's really great that we have them both.

FREE Grinder ad/poster print out of your choice to the person that can tell me what's wrong with Konerko's swing.

He's got his eyes closed? His back hand isn't on top like Thome's?

He's got his eyes closed?

Nope. On the really BIG swings he does close his eyes for a split second.

Well, "they" would be me, and I didn't want to show Thome in the Sox jersey until he actually is. True fans wouyld know. But that's why I choose a shot where you see no Phillies logos.

RIGHT! You win, Paulie's bat is BLACK. Send me a private message with your mailing address and your favorite Grinder Rule from the campaign we did and I will send you a small print of it.

But there is one other thing about Konerko that is wrong as well...guess that and I will make it two posters.

AND WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!!! The "W" bat is going the wrong way! Had to use the same bat that I photoshoped into Thomes hands to make the photo symetric. So the bat got flip horizontally, making the logo backwards. So on Sunday if you look really close you'll see that the words are backwards. You'll also see in the upper part of the bat that it says Chicago White Sox, also backwards.

Daver, Send me a private message with your address and I will send you tyhe Grinder poster of your choice.

You refer to this one...I wrote this on the plane back from game three at Boston. Have to credit the GREAT photography of Ron Vessie at the Sox. Each pitch is exactly the pitch that it says it is. Even the pointing at the end is what he did.

It is my favorite ad. Also like the complete game ad.

Off topic butt, about the Sox.

There's a story about Luke giving a ball to some kid & old Comskey bitvhing him out.
Luke then went up & hit foul after foul after foul to make him shut up.
