From the Philadelphia Inquirer
But while an Abreu-for-Ramirez trade doesn't seem to be a fit, it doesn't mean the Phillies and Red Sox won't get together next week during the winter meetings in Dallas. Abreu could land in Boston yet. One trade that might make more sense would involve Red Sox rightfielder Trot Nixon and a pitcher, possibly righthander Matt Clement. The Sox would be willing to move Nixon, and they have a surplus of pitching.
