Pretty good haul for some of the younger players, pretty much doubling their salaries!

Pods, Rowand, Dye, Crede, Uribe, Iguchi, Konerko, Pierzynski, Widger =10

Buehrle, Garcia, Contreras, Hernandez, Garland, Cotts, Marte, Jenks, Politte, Vizcaino = 10

Blum, Harris, Ozzie, Baines, Cooper, Kusnyer, KW, Man Soo, Hermanson, Ozuna = 10

That's 30. Now, the question is who they voted to give full shares to. Borchard, Gload, Shingo, Anderson, McCarthy, Casanova? Plus some other front office guys

Those shares add up quick

Man Soo Lee should have gotten one, just for successfully placing himself dead centre and giving the "number one!" sign in every group photo taken each time the Sox won a series. Uncanny!

Does Man Soo have a nickname? If so, what is it? If not, we should create one, like Kaptain Korea or something. He's kind of like a mascot in a way. He doesn't make plays, doesn't make personnel decisions, but he warms up pitchers and signs autographs for fans. Definately a good guy and worthy of a nickname.

I think it would be comical if JR gave a World Series Ring to Mariotti.

He has some awesome pictures on that site. They range from World Series celebration photos to photos of him on vacation to this.

Really!? The Sox let a 15 game lead dwindle down to 1.5 games. That's not the mark of a Champion.

Usually the distribution of the shares comes out. I'm surprised it hasn't already. I heard the day after Game 4 the winning World Series shares would come out to around $300,000. I have been looking to see who got the full shares. I'm impressed there were more than 40.

I don't doubt Shingo that got a full share. With the Sox. The Mets didn't have shares.

Wow...what a nice payday for one of the rooks or someone like Cotts or Willie or someone. After taxes, you still have enough to buy a house and such. These guys wow...what a payday. It would take me a heck of a while starting out after college to get that.

HotelWhiteSox

I heard this was the biggest share ever given out, about $100,000 more than White Sox players got last year and beat the record of the 98 Yankees.

Does any one know what the Astros share is as the losing team? I know it would still be a pretty good pay day.
