No photos of them, but hopefully they'll do something better than those bland pieces of **** they wore last year.

I didn't think they were that bad. I think their road unis were pretty sharp.

Did they indicate the uniforms would change? Ooooh, they could use some black to really jazz up their look.

I have no idea, I just saw it on the front page of mlb.com today.

Who thinks they'll be stupid and use black?

I guess they didn't like the Angel-esque uniforms.

The 05 jerseys were bland, but not horrible. Surprisingly, I actually loved the road jersey.
I dont know what they will do, but I hope they use the pretzel W as part of "Washington" in script on the road jerseys, and "Nationals" in script on the home jerseys reminiscent of the old Senators jerseys circa 1970. I don't think they will do that, however.
I have heard from a reliable source that the alternate will be just like their BP jersey - red with the DC logo. How original.
Edit: I just noticed the headline. They are not getting new jerseyS, they are getting one new jersey, an alternate, and an alternate cap. Same ol' Angel-esque jerseys next year except for the alt.

To me it looks like they're just adding an alternate and keeping the current road and homes.

speaking of choking...
:?:
The Nats didn't choke, they weren't nearly as good a team as the Braves. They were in first place into July, but when the Braves went on a roll, the Nats couldn't compete. It isn't like they lost a huge lead in September, 6 of their last 7 (like the Indians:D:).

Their uni's were OK last year, but could have been much better. That font they used for "Nationals" was just dumb.
And please.....NO BLACK!

My guess is that their 3rd uni will be using the 'DC' logo. It was one of their more popular hats this year (have to go to Nats games if I want to check out live MLB on a regular basis...)
The Nats didn't choke- they didn't have the hitting to last an entire season. Christian Guzman was hands down the worst free agent signing of 2005-just godawful numbers...

They put them up, they are just alternates...

I agree. I actually bought one when I was visiting the area this past summer...

It's about time. I was really getting tired of their old uniforms. All teams should make some changes every once in a while. I believe this is the National's FIRST CHANGE EVER !

The road uniforms are awesome, but all that RED RED RED for the home unies and alternates is boring. Too much like Anaheim.

Very astute observation. As a matter of fact, the designer of the Anaheim AND Washington jerseys (among others) was the same guy.
