1B-Konerko
I believe, for some reason, that this guy will have his down year this year. He's been going strong for a while but I think he may not rebound til '03. I expect .270, 15-23 HR's and 70-95 RBI's

LF-Lee
I think that Lee needs to be moved, but right now we are stuck with him. I think that he will have an above-average year, but not a great one. .285, 30-35 hrs and 80-100 RBI's

CF-Rowand
He's here til Super Joe is ready. This guy brings a lot of emotion, and isn't afraid to crash into the wall to catch the ball. He will have a down year like Singleton did hitting, I believe. .250. 10-15 HR's and 40-70 RBI's

3B-Crede
This should be Crede's year. Our 3B of the future needs to get playing time this year, because I don't know why the Sox have kept him if they aren't going to play him.

C- Alomar/Johnson
Maybe we can get one more year out of Sandy. If not, keep him around anyway to add a veteran presence to help MJ. I believe that MJ can blossom into a good catcher. Expect Alomar/Johnson each to have .265, 5-15 Hr's and 30-55 RBI's

Why does .275, 20 HR and 80 RBI sound more like Career year for Singleton rather than above average....Did we forget to add to .295 OBP he would also add? Rowand showed some power last year that needs numbers sound more plausible for him rather than Singleton, but I'm guessing that we have all been down this road before

But he does have some hardcore supporters doesnt he? My buddy thought he was the CF for the next decade after 99, so he bet me on Chris would be a .300 hitter, won me a quick 10 bucks:)

Chris seems to be going more and more to that rarified Rey Sanchez 300 level....hollow...why cant he be a 4th outfielder again? I know he wants to be a starter, but that doesnt mean that is in the cards for him. Personally if Giles and Erstad have run their course, Gabe Kapler would be a nice consellation prize
